FridgeVisPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Validor Technologies LLC handles information for FridgeVis. It is written to match the App Store privacy details for FridgeVis, which currently disclose six data types collected by the app.
FridgeVis currently discloses the following App Store data types: Name, Email Address, Photos or Videos, User ID, Performance Data, and Environment Scanning. These data types are disclosed as data not linked to your identity and are not disclosed as data used to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
FridgeVis may collect your name for app functionality and product personalization. FridgeVis may collect your email address for app functionality, including account access, support, service messages, and keeping your FridgeVis account connected to app activity.
FridgeVis may collect photos or videos you choose to provide, such as fridge, freezer, pantry, ingredient, or food-related images. These are used for app functionality and product personalization, including detecting visible ingredients and helping generate recipe ideas based on the food shown.
FridgeVis may collect a user ID for app functionality. This helps the app provide account access, save app state, connect purchases or credits to the correct account, support account deletion requests, and protect the service from abuse.
FridgeVis may collect performance data for analytics and app functionality. This information helps us understand whether the app is working correctly, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and maintain the quality of the FridgeVis experience.
FridgeVis may collect environment scanning information for app functionality. This includes information derived from images you provide of your fridge, freezer, pantry, ingredients, or similar food surroundings so the app can identify visible food items and support recipe generation.
We use information to provide app functionality, personalize food and recipe suggestions, authenticate users, process fridge or ingredient scans, generate recipe ideas, manage credits and Pro access, respond to support requests, troubleshoot errors, improve performance, and protect FridgeVis from misuse.
FridgeVis may send uploaded food images, environment scanning information, detected ingredients, and recipe prompts to AI services so the app can identify visible ingredients and generate recipe ideas. Do not upload images or enter information you do not want processed for those purposes.
FridgeVis uses service providers to operate the app, including Clerk for authentication and account management, Supabase for database hosting and stored app records, Apple and RevenueCat for App Store subscriptions and purchases, OpenAI for AI image and recipe processing, Resend or similar email providers for transactional and admin notification emails, and hosting infrastructure such as Vercel. These providers are used only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve FridgeVis.
Payments and subscription checkout are handled through Apple in the iOS app, with RevenueCat used to help process subscription status and purchase events. FridgeVis does not store full payment card numbers. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from your Apple Account subscriptions.
FridgeVis does not disclose the data types above as being used to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide FridgeVis, maintain app functionality, respond to support requests, comply with legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and improve the service. You may contact us to request account or data help.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should avoid uploading sensitive personal information that is not needed for FridgeVis.
FridgeVis provides recipe, StoreScan, and nutrition-oriented suggestions for informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional dietary guidance. Always review product labels, ingredients, allergens, dietary restrictions, freshness, and food safety before buying, cooking, or eating.
You can update your food profile by retaking the quiz, remove or change ingredients in the app, manage subscriptions from your Apple Account, and contact us about privacy, account, or data requests. Some information may need to be retained for billing, security, or legal reasons.
FridgeVis is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to FridgeVis, contact us so we can review the request.
