FridgeVisPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Validor Technologies LLC handles information for FridgeVis, including account data, fridge and item images, ingredients, recipe activity, item scans, and subscription details.
FridgeVis may collect information you enter or upload, including your account email, display name, taste profile answers, household and cooking preferences, fridge, freezer, pantry, or store item photos, manually added ingredients, saved ingredients, recipe requests, feedback, and support messages.
When you use FridgeVis, the app may create ingredient scan results, draft ingredients detected from images, item identification and nutrition scan results, generated recipes, buy-next suggestions, taste summaries, credit usage records, subscription status, and basic technical records needed to operate the service.
We use information to authenticate users, save food profiles, scan images for ingredients or store item details, generate recipes, remember ingredients and recipes, manage Trial, Pro, and Free Pro credits, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, troubleshoot errors, improve product quality, and protect the service from abuse.
FridgeVis may send uploaded food or item images, detected ingredients, profile preferences, nutrition labels, and recipe prompts to AI services so the app can identify ingredients, evaluate visible item details, and generate recipes. Do not upload images or enter information you do not want processed for those purposes.
FridgeVis uses service providers to operate the app, including Clerk for authentication and account management, Supabase for database hosting and stored app records, Stripe for checkout and subscription billing, OpenAI for AI image and recipe processing, Resend or similar email providers for transactional and admin notification emails, and hosting infrastructure such as Vercel. These providers are used only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve FridgeVis.
Payments and subscription checkout are handled by Apple in the iOS app and by Stripe on the web. FridgeVis does not store full payment card numbers. We may store Apple or Stripe customer, transaction, subscription, invoice, and status identifiers so credits and account access work correctly. If you subscribed through Apple, you can manage or cancel the subscription from your Apple Account subscriptions.
We keep account and product data for as long as needed to provide FridgeVis, comply with legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and improve the service. You may contact us to request account or data help.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should avoid uploading sensitive personal information that is not needed for FridgeVis.
FridgeVis provides recipe, StoreScan, and nutrition-oriented suggestions for informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional dietary guidance. StoreScan scores are estimates based on visible packaging, nutrition labels, ingredient lists, and AI analysis, not a clinical or personalized health assessment. Always review product labels, ingredients, allergens, dietary restrictions, freshness, and food safety before buying, cooking, or eating.
You can update your food profile by retaking the quiz, remove or change ingredients in the app, and contact us about privacy, account, or data requests. Some information may need to be retained for billing, security, or legal reasons.
FridgeVis is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to FridgeVis, contact us so we can review the request.
